We are delighted to announce that Harold Sharp’s Digital Advisory Team has been shortlisted for ‘Team of the Year’ by the 2021 Made in Manchester Awards, which celebrates the best of Manchester’s young business talent. The full shortlist was revealed on 7 December, and the awards ceremony will take place (digitally) on 4 February 2021.
Harold Sharp has long-held digital technology at the heart of its practice, with many of its clients using cloud-based software as well as bolt-on apps. However, the recent pandemic highlighted the importance of cloud-based solutions to enable businesses to obtain real-time accounting information more effectively and to drive quicker decision making around funding applications, staff management, forecasting etc. As a result, the Digital Advisory Team was launched, and now offers a whole host of new services, including: digital health checks, specialist data transfer from bespoke ERP systems, tailored add-on app advice (business-led) and improved client training programmes.
Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Heather Cunningham, Managing Director, said, “We understand that the competition was tough this year, so we’re delighted to have had the team’s achievements recognised. This has been a strange year for all of us, but one that we are working hard to navigate our clients through and technology-led solutions play a huge part in that.”
