Karen joined the firm in 2007. Formerly a Senior Manager with BDO Stoy Hayward LLP, Karen brings over 21 years experience of audit and accounts. Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991, she has worked both in practice and industry, gaining a wide range of experience of different industries including property, construction, retail, leisure, manufacturing, shipping, road transport and FSA-registered businesses, as well as not-for-profit, housing associations, charities and pension schemes.
In her role at Harold Sharp, Karen focuses on audit and accounts services. Her aim is to improve operational effectiveness by training the team to deliver quality results thereby increasing client satisfaction. As a result of this, the firm’s clients will benefit from having the ‘big firm’ approach without the accompanying cost.
