about us :: equality and csr policy

As our business has grown, we’ve acknowledged that our social and environmental responsibilities have grown too. In 2007, we began to develop our corporate social responsibility policy, focusing on two key areas:

Serving the local community
We aim to achieve this by working with a designated charity, which serves local communities in which the firm operates. Each year, following consultation between employees and partners, we commit to a number of fundraising activities on behalf of our designated charity, Francis House Hospice. The work of the Hospice is to provide respite care for carers and children with life-limiting conditions and we are proud to offer our support in raising much-needed funds for this worthwhile cause.

Ethical purchasing and consumption of goods and services
We encourage an ethical outlook across the firm, and aim to make informed decisions on the purchasing of goods and services. Where possible, we consider the ethical policies of our suppliers alongside cost. We also encourage an environmentally aware attitude to the firm’s consumption of goods and services.
